Why did I marry a Spanish senorita?
I was there in Spain on holiday the first time I did meet her.
Her beauty knocked me senseless, I fell under love's sweet spell,
But now all she does is slap my face and yell, yell, yell!

Why did I marry a fiery Spanish maid
With a temper like the devil? What a price that I have paid!
She knows every curse there is, every swear word known to man,
And she hits me every morning with her big steel frying pan!

6. The Spanish Señorita
(McGowan, Aguilar) Oh yes... I got this idea of use Veronica and her Spanish skills. And also an idea of the song where a fresh non-spanish husband starts to wonder if he did the right thing by marrying this beautiful senorita who has her red-hot temperament. Of course I needed Davy to write the lyrics - and he did. But I just couldn't find the melody for the lyrics, so Davy had to compose the song himself - not a problem to him. Veronica was free to use any word she decided but the truth is she had to think hard and practise and make notes to a paper to get it done. When she was really getting into mood, Carlos turned to pale and promised never to disobey! Veronica needed to come over to my studio to do this, she wouldn't want to scare their neighbours in London! So the song is made by Davy, and all Spanish yelling is by Veronica, I only got the original idea, and added some guitar and a hitting pan effect - can you hear it? -- Jore

I wasn't supposed to be involved in this track at all! But somehow Jore talked me into doing a demo of what it should sound like - and then he used the bloody demo as the track. Veronica is the star here. Carlos better not mess with her! -- Davy
